A Few More Ways to Enjoy the Weekend

If you don't want to plan your entire weekend around scheduled events, August is a great time to explore the Florida Gulf Coast.

Consider spending part of the weekend at:

Pensacola Beach: Beach time, paddleboarding, dolphin cruises, fishing or waterfront dining.

Downtown Pensacola: Historic Pensacola, locally owned shops, restaurants, galleries and nightlife.

Navarre: Visit the beach, check out the local markets and explore the quieter side of the Gulf Coast.

Milton: Enjoy the Blackwater River, local businesses and the city's community events.

Gulf Breeze: Spend some time along the Sound or make the short drive to Pensacola Beach.

One Important Weekend Tip

August on the Gulf Coast means heat, humidity and afternoon thunderstorms. For outdoor activities, check the forecast before leaving, bring plenty of water and sunscreen, and have a backup plan if storms roll in.

And if you're heading downtown Saturday night for Alabama or the Saenger comedy show, give yourself extra time for parking.

Thinking About Making Pensacola Home?

One of my favorite things about living and working in the Pensacola area is that there is always something happening somewhere nearby. From downtown Pensacola to the beaches, Gulf Breeze, Milton and Navarre, every community has its own personality and lifestyle.

If you're thinking about buying, selling or relocating to the Pensacola area, I'd love to help you find not just a house, but the community that's right for you.

Have a great weekend, Pensacola!
