From a huge celebration of Latino culture downtown to live jazz on the waterfront, a LEGO convention, a college football game, local markets, and even a pumpkin-themed fall kickoff, there is something happening for just about everyone.
Here are some of the events and activities happening around Pensacola and Pensacola Beach September 18–20, 2026.
Friday, September 18
Gallery Night: Viva Pensacola — Latino Festival

One of the biggest events of the weekend is Gallery Night: Viva Pensacola, a special Latino Festival celebrating art, music, food, culture, and the creative community in downtown Pensacola.
More than 70 art vendors are expected throughout the event, with galleries, local businesses, live performances, and plenty to explore as you stroll through downtown.
Helpful hint: Wear comfortable shoes and plan to walk. This is a great event to pair with dinner or drinks downtown afterward.
Gulf Coast Summer Fest — Jazz Edition

Location: Vince J. Whibbs Sr. Community Maritime Park, 301 W. Main Street, Pensacola
Jazz fans have a big weekend ahead. Gulf Coast Summer Fest Jazz Edition returns to Community Maritime Park for three days of jazz, R&B, and Southern blues right along the waterfront.
This year marks the festival's 10th anniversary, making it an especially notable year for the event.
Helpful hint: Lawn chairs, coolers, and umbrellas are allowed, although there are restrictions on cooler and chair sizes in preferred seating areas. Food vendors will also be available.
I Heart Pumpkin Party

Fall is making an early appearance in Pensacola with the I Heart Pumpkin Party at Coastal County Brewing Company.
The three-day event brings pumpkin-inspired flavors and fall vibes to the brewery's outdoor beer garden.
Helpful hint: Since the event runs all weekend, you can choose the day that works best for your schedule. It's also a good excuse to start embracing those fall flavors even though Pensacola temperatures may still feel very much like summer.
Can’t Feel My Face: 2010s Dance Party

Ready for a throwback night? Can’t Feel My Face brings a 2010s dance-party atmosphere to Vinyl Music Hall.
This one is geared toward the adults looking for a late-night Friday activity and a little nostalgia.

Palafox Market

A Saturday in Pensacola wouldn't be complete without Palafox Market.
Browse fresh produce, plants, baked goods, art, antiques, and handmade products from local vendors while enjoying live music. The market features more than 200 small local businesses.
The market continues during the New Palafox construction, with vendors at both downtown locations.
Helpful hint: A free trolley runs between the two market locations from 10:30 AM–2:30 PM, making it easier to explore both areas.
Pensacola BRICK Convention

LEGO fans are going to want this one on their calendar.
The BRICK Convention is coming to Pensacola for a full weekend of giant LEGO displays, building activities, vendors, artists, special guests, collectibles, and hands-on experiences for LEGO fans of all ages.
Helpful hint: There are separate morning and afternoon sessions, and organizers warn that some sessions can sell out. Tickets should be purchased ahead of time if you have a specific time you want to attend.
This could be a particularly fun weekend activity for families.
Vettes at the Beach

Location: Casino Beach parking lot, Pensacola Beach
Car enthusiasts won't want to miss Vettes at the Beach, an annual Corvette show hosted by the Miracle Strip Corvette Club.
More than 200 Corvettes are expected, with cars coming from around the country. The event also includes awards, raffles, food, and plenty of opportunity to admire some seriously impressive cars.
The show takes place right at Casino Beach, so you can combine your visit with some time on the beach afterward.
Helpful hint: The display area opens early, with registration and parking beginning at 8 AM for the general public.
Fall 2026 Pensacola Plantapalooza

If you have a green thumb — or simply wish you did — check out Pensacola Plantapalooza.
The fall plant event brings together plant vendors and botanical enthusiasts with plenty of plants and plant-related products to browse. Food trucks will be on-site, and the event is described as both pet- and child-friendly.
Helpful hint: Bring a list of the plants you're looking for and know where you're going to put them before you buy too many. It is very easy to leave a plant market with more plants than you planned!
UWF Football vs. Austin Peay

Theme: Family Weekend
College football returns to Pensacola as the University of West Florida Argonauts take on Austin Peay during UWF Family Weekend.
UWF Family Weekend also includes activities on campus Friday and Saturday, including a family tailgate before the game.

Jukebox Gala

What I love about weekends like this in Pensacola is that you don't have to choose just one thing.
You could start Saturday morning at Palafox Market, check out the cars at Pensacola Beach, take the kids to the BRICK Convention, and finish the evening at a UWF football game. Or maybe your perfect weekend looks more like plants, jazz, good food, and a sunset at the beach.
There really is something for everyone.
And for those of us who call Pensacola home, weekends like this are a great reminder of just how much there is to do right here in our own backyard.
