Sunday morning brings the annual Sea Turtle Triathlon to Pensacola Beach.
The youth-focused event is designed for children ages 6–15 and includes swimming, biking and running along a closed course on the beach.

A Few More Weekend Options
If you're looking for something a little less structured, there are plenty of additional options around town, including live music, the West Garden District Artisan Market, Rosie O'Grady's Dueling Piano Show, Roman Street with Andy Vargas and Sunday brunch spots.
And, of course, the Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival is one of the major themes of the entire weekend, with performances happening at venues throughout the area.
My Pick for a Perfect Pensacola Weekend
If I were putting together a full weekend itinerary, I'd do something like this:
Friday:
Start with First Fridays Art Walk downtown, grab dinner, then check out Frankenstein or one of the Songwriters Festival performances.
Saturday:
Start with Palafox Market, spend some time downtown, head to Gulf Breeze or Pensacola Beach in the afternoon, then dress up for the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra's Opening Night.
Sunday:
Start your morning at Pensacola Beach, catch some of the Sea Turtle Triathlon action, grab brunch, and finish the weekend with Alice in Wonderland or Frankenstein.
That's the great thing about October in Pensacola: you don't have to choose between beach weather and fall activities. We get a little bit of both.
October Is Officially Here
October is one of my favorite times of year to be in Pensacola. The weather starts to cool down, football is in full swing, outdoor events become more comfortable and the calendar starts filling up with fall festivals and Halloween activities.
And if you're thinking about making Pensacola home, this is also a great time to get out and experience the community for yourself.
Go explore a neighborhood. Grab lunch at a local restaurant. Visit a market. Take the kids to an event. Spend a Saturday at the beach.
Because buying a home isn't just about the house.
It's about finding a place where you actually love the life you're living.
If you're thinking about buying, selling or relocating to the Pensacola area, I'm always happy to be a resource.
